The Starlink Ukraine company has been granted an operating license in Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister/Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports, citing the Interfax Ukraine news agency.

"The company has just been entered into the Register of Providers of Electronic Communications Networks and Services as No. 1. The SpaceX company’s representative office will soon begin active operations in Ukraine," he wrote.

According to the State Register of Sole Proprietors and Legal Entities, Starlink Ukraine LLC was registered in Kyiv on 27 April 2022. Olena Kandia is the head of the company.

The founder of Starlink Ukraine LLC is Starlink Holdings Netherlands BV (United States) and its ultimate beneficial owner is Elon Musk.

Starlink Ukraine LLC has an authorized capital of UAH 50.

As reported previously, the first Starlink satellite internet station began operating at the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) on March 1.
