Tatra-Yug, a Ukrainian tram manufacturer with production facilities in Dnipro, has already delivered 11 low-floor K1T306 trams to Odesa.
The company announced this in comments to the CFTS portal.
Tatra-Yug won a tender to supply trams to Odesa in 2021 under the "Ukraine Urban Public Transport" project, which is financed with loans from the European Investment Bank (EIB).
In total, the regional center is expected to receive 13 such trams.
Earlier, it was announced that the last tram under this contract will arrive in the city by the end of March this year. The trams are 26 meters long and can carry up to 300 passengers, including 71 seated.
The trams have pivoting bogies and a two-stage suspension system. This design enhances the tram's maneuverability and allows it to operate on uneven tracks.
As previously reported, Dnipro signed a contract in early February for the delivery of five three-section K1T306 trams.
