Ternopilelectrotrans, the municipal public transport operator in Ternopil, has completed the purchase of 17 new Electron trolleybuses.

As reported by the CFTS portal, citing the Ternopil News Agency, the new trolleybuses are expected to begin operating on the city’s streets by late spring.

Each trolleybus is equipped with a "kneeling" system that enables it to "crouch" at stops to facilitate wheelchair access.

Simultaneously with the preparation of these 17 trolleybuses, the city has invited tenders for the supply of an additional seven trolleybuses to meet the demand on key municipal routes.

After the completion of technical inspections, documentation, and branding, the new trolleybuses will be deployed on municipal routes.
