Ukrlandfarming, the agricultural holding company with the largest area of land in Ukraine, intends to invest about USD 100 million in construction of a feed mill and a grain elevator complex in the Marinsky district of the Donetsk region, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports, citing the press service of the holding company.

The new complex will have a storage of capacity of up to 150,000 tons of grain and a feed production capacity of 40 tons per hour.

According to Ukrlandfarming, it plans to build a total of 12 such complexes with a combined storage capacity of 2 million tons of grain and a feed production capacity of 1.9 million tons per year in 12 regions of Ukraine in the period of 2013-2014.

As reported, Ukrlandfarming intends to invest UAH 3.5-4 billion in expansion of its elevator capacity in the next two years.

According to information from Ukrlandfarming, it is the largest agricultural holding company in Eurasia. It engages in cultivation of grain, production of eggs, egg products, and sugar, breeding of cattle, as well as in distribution of equipment, fertilizer, and seeds.

The holding company consists of 146 horizontal grain storage facilities, six seed plants, 19 poultry farms, nine farms for breeding laying hens, three sow farms, three breeding farms, six feed mills, three long-term storage warehouses, the Imperovo Foods egg product factory, six sugar refineries, 19 meat processing plants, and two tanneries. It also owns 68,000 heads of cattle.

Ukrlandfarming had 532,000 hectares of land as of the beginning of this year.
