The pilot container train departed from Illichivsk on the route Ukraine-Georgia-Azerbaijan-Kazakhstan-China on 15 January.
The first trip of the new container train on the Silk Road route took 15.5 days instead of the announced 11-12 days.
The two countries agree the number of entry permits for large trucks annually.
