The Latvian airline airBaltic has resumed flights from Riga to Odesa. The first flight after a three-year break was performed at night on March 27.
The airline will use a Bombardier Q400 turboprop and a Boeing 737 jet on the route.
In total, airBaltic will perform up to four flights between Riga and Odesa per week. Initially, the flights will be operated on Mondays and Saturdays. From June 6, they will also be operated on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Flights will depart from Riga at around midnight and arrive in Odessa at 02:05. The return flight will depart at 03:40 and land in the Latvian capital at 06:20.
As reported, the airline stopped performing flights to Odesa in November 2013.
