The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed nine deputy ministers to oversee issues of European integration.
The presentation of newly appointed deputy ministers took place in Kyiv on Thursday, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.
Oksana Reiter was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Infrastructure responsible for European Integration, Tigran Avakian as the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs responsible for European Integration, Serhii Ustymenko as the Deputy Minister of Social Policy responsible for European Integration, Myroslav Kosheliuk as the Deputy Minister of Regional Development, Construction, Housing, and Utilities responsible for European Integration, Olena Zerkal as the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs responsible for European Integration, Ihor Kabanenko as the Deputy Minister of Defense responsible for European Integration, Mykola Movchan as the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports responsible for European Integration, and Svitlana Fomenko as the Deputy Minister of Culture responsible for European Integration.
In addition, Valerii Piatnytskyi was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade responsible for European integration/Ukrainian trade representative.
Oksana Reiter was the deputy director of the Department of International Cooperation in the Ministry of Infrastructure from 2003 to 2012. She later worked in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She graduated from the Izmail State Humanitarian University.
