Ukraine’s state budget for 2023 provides for the creation of a special fund for rebuilding the country’s railway infrastructure and allocates almost UAH 36 billion for this purpose.

The CFTS portal reported this, citing the UNIAN news agency.

As Deputy Minister of Finance Oleksandr Kava stated during an information telethon, the 2022 state budget allocates UAH 17 billion from the reserve fund for supporting the rail transport system.

"Regarding the rebuilding of the railway infrastructure, a special reconstruction fund has been created in the 2023 budget, which allocates almost UAH 36 billion for financing construction, reconstruction, restoration, and overhauls," Kava said.
