The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has published its December 18 directive No. 1309-r on changes in the composition of the supervisory board of the Ukrainian Railways public joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia), which was signed by Prime Minister Oleksii Honcharuk.
As the CFTS portal reported, the document states that the government’s representatives on the company’s supervisory board Danylo Bilak and Kostiantyn Marievych were removed and replaced with Serhii Leschenko and Oleh Zhuravlev.
The directive authorizes the Ministry of Infrastructure’s State Secretary Andrii Haluschak to sign the relevant contracts with the abovementioned members of the supervisory board.
Leschenko is a prominent journalist. He was a member of the eighth parliament.
Zhuravlev is a lawyer, an adviser to Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklyi, and the chairman of the Krona insurance company’s supervisory board.
