KOSTAL Ukraine, a subsidiary of the Leopold Kostal group (Germany), intends to build a plant for production of automotive electronics in the village of Dudarkiv (Boryspil district of the Kyiv region), the CFTS portal reports, citing the Liga Business publication .
A memorandum of cooperation was signed by the Boryspil district administration’s head Volodymyr Strokan and KOSTAL Ukraine’s CEO Radoslav Škup.
The company’s headquarters in Germany has confirmed its intention to build the plant.
According to the project, construction of the plant should begin in the Boryspil district in May this year. The project will require investment of EUR 13 million in construction of the plant and EUR 26 million in equipment.
According to preliminary estimates, the new plant will create 900 jobs in the region.
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, a new asphalt concrete plant has been launched in the Sumy region.
