The Higher Economic Court of Ukraine overturned on October 2 the decision that led to the transfer of ownership of the Swissport Ukraine limited liability company (Kiev) from Swissport International Ltd (Switzerland) to the airline company Ukraine International Airlines (Kyiv) on April 27, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.

Artur Kiyan, a senior lawyer with the Lavrynovych & Partners law firm (Kyiv), announced this to Interfax Ukraine on Wednesday.
As reported, it was announced yesterday that Swissport International Ltd. had called on the European Commission to influence the Ukrainian government and courts in resolving the conflict with the largest Ukrainian carrier Ukraine International Airlines. The call was made in a letter by Swissport International Ltd’s CEO Per Utnegaard to the European Commission’s President Jose Manuel Barroso.
