The Ukrainian Ministry of Internal Affairs has postponed the launch of traffic enforcement cameras in Ukraine because of the quarantine in the country.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the traffic enforcement cameras were scheduled to be launched on May 1, but the restrictions that have been imposed in the country in connection with the quarantine apply to certain police units and other organizations involved in operation of the traffic enforcement cameras.

"In connection with this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs has made the decision to postpone the operation of the traffic enforcement cameras until the end of the strict quarantine," the ministry said in a statement.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the traffic enforcement cameras were scheduled to launch on May 1.
