The Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe increased the production of railway products by 19.1% to 56,000 tons in January-June 2024, compared with January-June last year.
This was reported by the CFTS portal, citing the publication MMK Center.
Specifically, the company produced 42,000 tons of railway wheels, a 20% year-on-year increase.
Sales of railway products in the first half of 2024 also grew by 28.9% year-on-year, reaching 58,000 tons.
Of these, 40,000 tons were sold in the European market (a significant increase of 37.9% year-on-year) and 9,000 tons in the Ukrainian market (a decrease of 10% year-on-year).
In the second quarter, Interpipe produced 29,000 tons of railway products, an increase of 3.6% over the previous quarter.
During the same quarter, the company increased sales of railway products by 19.2% over the previous quarter to 31,000 tons.
