Ukraine and Japan have ratified an agreement on provision of a second loan of USD 300 million for supporting economic reforms. Ukraine’s Minister of Finance Natalie Jaresko announced this to reporters on Friday, 4 March, the UNIAN news agency reports.

"Today, we are pleased to announce that Ukraine and Japan have ratified an agreement that allows our country to obtain a credit of USD 300 million," said Jaresko.

The minister also said that the ratified the agreement would enter into effect in March and that the money was expected to arrive in April this year.

According to her, the funds will be transferred into the general fund of the state budget.
