The Ukrainian parliament has appointed Oleksandr Kamyshin, who announced his resignation from the position of board chairperson of the Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) on 27 February, as Ukraine’s minister of strategic industries.
Ukraine’s Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal recommended that the parliament appoint Kamyshin as Ukraine’s minister for strategic industries on 20 March.
The Verkhovna Rada also adopted the draft resolution "On the Resignation of Ukraine’s Minister of Strategic Industries P. B. Riabikin" of 20 March 2023 on 20 March.
According to the available information, Riabikin, who headed the Boryspil airport from 2017 to 2020, is to be appointed Ukraine’s ambassador to China.
