The Lemtrans Group held a working meeting with a Finnish delegation consisting of representatives from the National Emergency Supply Security Agency (NESA) and heads of several state and private logistics companies. The Finnish side initiated the delegation’s visit to study Ukraine’s experience in maintaining continuity of logistics, security operations, and the functioning of critical infrastructure during wartime.
The Lemtrans Group announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
The Finnish delegation included representatives of NESA, executives from a state and several private logistics companies, and security specialists.
On the part of Lemtrans, the meeting was attended by the director of transportation, the head of the wagon management department, the head of the security service, and the director of terminal network development at the Levada Cargo freight forwarding company (part of the Lemtrans Group).
The company’s experts presented the Finnish representatives with real case studies, including how to organize uninterrupted freight transportation during martial law; which solutions for protecting IT networks and critical systems have proven effective; and which rapid-response protocols worked and which did not.
The Finnish representatives also received recommendations on adapting routes and ensuring personnel safety.
"For European partners, Ukraine’s experience is an important example of how companies can operate under constant wartime threats. At the same time, Lemtrans sees this as an opportunity to integrate Ukrainian solutions into European logistics practices and bolster Ukraine’s position as a reliable partner in the face of wartime challenges," the company said.
