The Ministry of Infrastructure has approved the leaderships of the 18 seaports that were appointed on July 16, the press service of the ministry has announced.
"In accordance with Article 15 of the Law on Seaports of Ukraine, which entered into force on 13 June 2013, the head of a seaport is the head of the seaport’s administration,” the announcement states.
Oleksii Koshelev has been approved as the head of the Ilyichevsky port administration, Oleksii Rosynskyi as the head of the Mariupol port administration, Mykhailo Sokolov as the head of the Odessa port administration, and Maksym Shirokov as the head of the Yuzhny port administration.
In addition, Viacheslav Reznykov has been approved as the head of the Berdyansk port administration, Oleksii Khaimenov as the head of the Belgorod-Dnestrovsky port administration, Yevhen Piatachov as the head of the Yevpatoriya port administration, Mykola Ilin as the head of the Izmail port administration, Oleksii Shatskikh as the head of the Kerch port administration, Vasyl Ivaniuk as the head of the Nikolayev port administration, and Andrii Yehorov as the head of the Oktyabrsk port administration.
The other approved appointees are Serhii Stroi as the head of the Reni port administration, Serhii Tarakanov as the head of the Sevastopol port administration, Oleh Protochenko as the head of the Skadovsk port administration, Volodymyr Korovin as the head of the Ust-Danube port administration, Anatolii Mazilo as the head of the Feodosiya port administration, Serhii Ihnatenko as the head of the Kherson port administration, and Oleksandr Kotovskyi as the head of the Yalta port administration.
As reported, all the above-named people were appointed as the acting heads of the respective port administrations in June 2013.
In addition, appointments were made at 20 reorganized state enterprises. Yurii Kharkov was appointed as the acting head of Delta Lotsman, Yurii Kruk as the acting head of the Ilyichevsky port, Hennadii Zhukov as the acting head of Odessa port, Mykola Zelenkevych as the acting head of the Kerch port, Oleksandr Oliinyk as the acting head of the Mariupol port, and Serhii Koltypin as the acting head of the Nikolayev port. The Yalta seaport is headed by Andrii Orlov, the Sevastopol port by Serhii Ilin, the Kherson port by Ihor Tkachenko, the Reni port by Andrii Fischenko, and the Oktyabrsk port by Oleksandr Basiuk.
The acting head of the Skadovsk seaport remains Kateryna Schehlova Katherine, who was appointed to the post in February this year. The leaderships of the Feodosiya, Izmail, Yevpatoriya, Berdyansk, Belgorod-Dnestrovsky, Yuzhny, and Ust-Danube also remain unchanged.
The Administration of Seaports of Ukraine was registered on May 27, 2013, and it began operation on June 13. The strategic assets of harbors (berths, water areas, canals, and general infrastructure) are under the control of this state agency. The administration has a branch at every state seaport. The other assets of ports (transshipment equipment, port fleet, ship-repair shops, vehicles, etc.) are on the books of state-owned port enterprises.
