The Nibulon agricultural company has dispatched its first coastal trading vessel from the Danube port. The coaster, loaded with 7,000 tons of soybeans, left the company's Bessarabian branch in the port of Izmail for Turkey.

Nibulon announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.

The company expects to make such shipments regularly.

According to the statement, Nibulon's fleet of barges and tugs will continue to operate on the Izmail - Constanța route to enable the loading of heavy-tonnage vessels.

"For the loading of coasters, we work with a specific segment of customers, mainly in the Mediterranean basin. For them, the mobility associated with medium-sized shipments and the reduced war-risk factor associated with the ports of Greater Odesa are important. At the same time, the ability to deliver grain directly to the customer will allow us to maintain the level of purchase prices for grain, supporting our partner agricultural producers," said Nibulon's Trade Director Volodymyr Slavinskyi.
