The main task of the Administration of Ukrainian Seaports should be development of a strategy for development of ports, according to the Black and Azov Seas Ports Association’s Executive Director Georgy Tokman.
"In the future, it will be necessary to operate in accordance with this strategy while also taking account of the plans to develop land routes," he said.
The expert also commented on the appointment of the Odesa seaport’s head Yurii Vaskov as the head of the Administration of Ukrainian Seaports.
"The appointment Vaskov is very logical, considering the fact that the Odesa seaport has achieved more than all Ukrainian ports combined in a public-private partnership,” said Tokman.
