The total volume of passenger traffic through the Boryspil airport was 12.6 million in 2018.
This was stated in data published on the Boryspil airport’s official Facebook page on Wednesday, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the data, the volume of passenger traffic through the Boryspil airport has increased every year since 2014. It increased by 83% in 2018 and by 19% in 2017 (when the volume of passenger traffic through the airport was 10.55 million), compared with 2014.
“We are beginning the new year with good news. The most important indicator of the airport’s success is the number of people that use our services. The Boryspil International Airport has been seeing steady growth since 2014. This gives us the opportunity to plan long-term development of the airport,” the airport stated.
The Boryspil airport’s financial plan for 2019 provides for a passenger volume of 14.4 million.
As reported earlier, the Boryspil airport handled its 12 millionth passenger of 2018 on December 12.
