The volume of passenger traffic through the Lviv airport increased by 48% in 2018, the CFTS portal reports, citing data published by the airport. According to the data, 1.599 million people used the airport’s services in 2018.
Out of the total number of passengers that the airport handled in 2018, 1.39 million were on international flights (a 53.5% increase compared with 2017) and 208,300 on domestic flights (19.7%).
The volume of passenger traffic through the Lviv airport was 130,600 in December 2018, a 59.3% increase compared with December 2017.
Out of the total number of passengers that passed through the Lviv airport in December 2018, 113,800 were on international flights (a 68.1% increase compared with the volume in December 2017) and 16,800 on domestic flights (17.5%).
The total number of flights handled by the airport also increased by 28.2% to 15,368 in 2018, including 1,221 flights in December (a 27.9% increase).
As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Wizz Air airline’s passenger volumes to the Lviv airport increased five-fold in 2018.
