Swiss-made Vevey low-floor trams, which are expected to arrive in Lviv by the end of summer 2024, will operate on a new line to the "Unbreakable" National Rehabilitation Center, the CFTS portal reports.

The recently opened center will provide physical therapy and rehabilitation services to up to 10,000 people annually.

As the CFTS portal previously reported, in January 2024, the transport company of the Swiss city of Bern, Bernmobil, signed an agreement to transfer 11 used low-floor Vevey trams to Lviv. These are the first low-floor trams to be built in Switzerland.

All 11 vehicles are in working condition and their delivery costs will be covered by the Swiss side.
