Infrastructure Minister Andrii Pyvovarskyi and Health Minister Alexander Kvitashvili have said that they will withdraw their resignation letters, the Ukrainska Pravda publication reports.
Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Oleksii Pavlenko and Minister of Information Policy Yurii Stets also withdrew their resignation letters. They announced this at an emergency meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday evening.
As reported, Infrastructure Minister Pyvovarskyi decided to resign on December 11. He announced his decision at his end-of-year news briefing.
"I am resigning and I hope that parliamentary deputies will accept my request. This is my personal decision. I will not be in the new government composition," Pyvovarskyi said. "I see as my successor a technocrat with a little more experience in dealing with politicians and not a member of any party," Pyvovarskyi said at the time. At the same time, he said that his destiny was tied to Ukraine and that he planned to return to business.
Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius announced on 3 February that he had decided to resign because of lack of support and active opposition to the reforms being implemented by his team.
