Qatar Airways has announced the launch of Doha-Odesa flights from 9 December 2021.
The airline company announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the statement, the flights will be operated three times a week, using an Airbus A320 aircraft with 120 seats in the economy class and 12 seats in the business class.
“We have been operating flights to Ukraine since August 2017 and our launch of flights to Odesa marks a milestone in our history with the country. Odesa is rightly known as the pearl of the Black Sea and we look forward to bringing visitors from around the world to explore its rich cultural history as well as further afield along the coast and inland in the southwest of Ukraine," said Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker.
According to the statement, the Qatari national carrier continues to rebuild its network, which currently stands at over 140 destinations.
“With flights to more than 85 destinations in the Asia-Pacific, Africa, and the Middle East, passengers wanting to travel to or from Odesa can now enjoy seamless connectivity via the ‘Best Airport in the World,’ Hamad International Airport,” the company said in the statement.
