Ukraine incurred losses amounting to UAH 9 billion from the operations of six state-owned enterprises in the agrarian sector in 2014. First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Yaroslav Krasnopolskyi announced this to reporters, the RBC Ukraine publication reports.
The enterprises include Ukrspirt, the State Food and Grain Corporation, and the Agrarian Fund.
"The six enterprises that we analyzed in 2014 and the information that we received and sent to the Prosecutor-General’s Office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs… Our country was robbed of UAH 9 billion last season, and this happened at our six major state-owned enterprises. These include Ukrspirt, the State Food and Grain Corporation, and the Agrarian Fund. That is, all those important strategic assets have already inflicted major losses on the state. This happened because of the people that headed and directly worked at these enterprises," he said.
