The Kiev regional department of the State Property Fund of Ukraine (SPF) has made number of spaces available for rent at the Boryspil international airport, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports, citing an advertisement in the Privatization Bulletin publication.
The SPF is offering 110 square meters of space on the territory of the airport’s cargo terminal, which is to be used to house an eating establishment; 1,055 square meters of space on the first and third floors of the terminal D, which is ended for providing services to passengers; several spaces at the airport, which are to be used for transportation of passengers, location of ticket counters, and sale of publications; 52.6 square meters of space for housing drugstores.
Lease applications for these spaces will be accepted within ten business days after the publication of the announcement.
If two or more applications are received for a single space, the lessor will announce a competition for the right to lease the space in accordance with the requirements of the law of Ukraine "On Lease of State and Municipal Property."
As reported, the Boryspil airport announced in early spring that it planned to lease out 31 land plots at its terminal D.
The state-owned Boryspil international airport is the largest airport in Ukraine. It occupies a total area of about 1,000 hectares. The airport has two runways: one with a length of 4,000 meters and a width of 60 meters and the second with a length of 3,500 meters and a width of 63 meters. Four passenger terminals and postal-and-cargo complex are located at the airport.
