Ukraine and Germany plan to sign an agreement on establishment of a German-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry during a business forum in Berlin on 23 October, Prime Minister Arsenii Yatseniuk has announced, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.
"Today, the government is making the decision to sign an agreement between the government of Ukraine and the government of Germany on the establishment of a German-Ukrainian chamber of industry and commerce," Yatseniuk said at a cabinet meeting on Wednesday, 7 October.
According to him, this body will give an impetus to the development of bilateral economic relations.
The newly established Ukrainian-German chamber of commerce and industry is that body that will enable German and Ukrainian businesses to invest, create jobs, and advance on the road to modernization of the Ukrainian economy," the prime minister said.
