Direct flights between Kyiv and Bucharest will be resumed soon, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has said, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.
"We hope that airlines make use of the permits that have already been granted to them and resume direct flights between Bucharest and Kyiv soon," Poroshenko said at a joint press conference with Romania’s President Klaus Iohannis in Bucharest on Thursday, April 21.
According to Poroshenko, this will be applicable after introduction of visa-free travel between Ukraine and the EU.
