President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi has signed the decree No. 116/2021 entitled "On Temporary Introduction of a Visa-Free Regime for Citizens of the People's Republic of China Entering Ukraine for Tourist Purposes."

This was announced in a statement on the official website of the head of state, the CFTS portal reports.

According to the document, in order to develop friendly relations between Ukraine and the People's Republic of China (PRC) and intensify bilateral cooperation on tourism, citizens of the PRC will be able to enter Ukraine or travel through the country on transit without visas from 1 April to 30 September 2021 if the period of their stay in Ukraine does not exceed 30 days during a 180-day period.

The Cabinet of Ministers was instructed to implement the measures stipulated in the decree.

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has introduced negative PCR tests for COVID-19 as a requirement for entry into the country. Foreigners now need two documents to enter Ukraine: a compulsory insurance policy and a negative PCR test for COVID-19 taken within 72 hours.
