Ukraine’s Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has submitted his resignation to the newly elected parliament, the CFTS portal reports.

The prime minister made the relevant statement in the parliament’s session hall in accordance with the legislative procedure

That notwithstanding, the head of the parliament’s interim presidium, Dmytro Razumkov, said that the current government would remain in office until approval of a new Cabinet of Ministers.

As reported earlier, the parliament accepted the resignation of then-prime minister Arsenii Yatseniuk on April 14, 2016, and appointed Groysman as prime minister.
