Ukrainian ports handled 60 million tons of cargo in January-July 2024.
The Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority (USPA) announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
Ukrainian ports handled 34.4 million tons of cargo during the same period in 2023.
"This figure is almost equal to the volume of transshipment in the 12 months of 2023 (62 million tons)," the statement said.
In total, Ukrainian ports handled 7 million tons of cargo in July 2024, which is 2.2 times more than they handled in 2023.
During this period, 4.2 million tons of agricultural products were exported to 46 countries.
