The Ukrainian Railways joint-stock company (Ukrzaliznytsia) has completed the overhaul of the 12th electric train since the beginning of this year.
Ukrzaliznytsia announced this in a statement, the CFTS portal reports.
The electric train was manufactured in Luhansk and modernized at the Kyiv Electric Carriage Repair Plant.
It is the second DC train of the EPL2T series to be modernized for the Prydniprovska Railway.
Two more trains of the EPL series will leave the plant by the end of this year.
The train is equipped with ramps, seats for people with disabilities, inclusive restrooms, Braille navigation, bicycle racks, and USB Type-C ports for charging electronic devices.
This electric train is the 24th to be produced since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion.
"It is already on its way to Dnipro, where it will run on the first line of the Dnipro City Express system in December, together with its twin train," the statement said.
