The cost of washing a single linen set that is provided to train passengers is about UAH 11.
"The cost of washing a single set of linen at our laundry is about UAH 11 while a passenger pays UAH 30…" the Kyiv-Pasazhyrskyi train depot’s laundry complex told the CFTS portal.
The laundry complex employs about 200 people.
The laundry complex has two lines: one with a capacity of 1 ton of laundry per hour and the other with a capacity of 2 tons of laundry per hour.
In peak periods, the laundry complex washes 27-28 tons of laundry per day.
