The first meeting of the new composition of the Ukrzaliznytsia public railway company’s supervisory board took place on 1 August. First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Yevhen Kravtsov was elected as the chairman of the supervisory board.

According to the Ministry of Infrastructure, the supervisory board also includes Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Nadia Kaznacheeva, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Dmytro Romenskyi, the State Property Fund’s head Ihor Bilous, and the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade’s representative Olena Diachenko, who is responsible for reform of state enterprises.

Ukrzaliznytsia’s Board Chairman Wojciech Balczun also attended the meeting.

At the meeting, the supervisory board decided to develop an action plan for implementation of reforms in Ukrzaliznytsia in the coming year, outline the responsibilities of every board member along with the relevant performance indicators, develop an updated organizational structure for Ukrzaliznytsia, and work with international organizations to complete the process of corporatization of Ukrzaliznytsia.
