The Urga airline (Kirovohrad) increased its net profit 2.3-fold to UAH 12.593 million in 2015, compared with 2014, according to preliminary data, the Interfax Ukraine news agency reports.
The report cited the agenda of a shareholders' meeting scheduled for April 22, which was announced in the Securities of Ukraine bulletin.
According to the report, the company's assets had a value of UAH 141.448 million as of December 31, 2015, which is 84% more than the value of its assets as of the same date in 2014.
The company’s total accounts receivable during the reporting period increased by 55% to UAH 40.251 million, its cash and cash equivalents increased five-fold to UAH 55.126 million, and its retained earnings increased by 44% to UAH 41.113 million.
Meanwhile, the company’s current liabilities increased 3.3-fold to UAH 74.373 million in 2015, compared with 2014.
The Urga airline was founded in 1993. It was added to the list of official UN carriers in December 1994, transporting passengers, baggage, and cargo on UN missions. Its fleet consists of 20 aircraft: Saab 340, An-26, An-24, and Cessna 172R.
