Weekend quarantines will be introduced in Ukraine from the weekend of November 14-15 until November 30. A decision to this effect was made at a government meeting on 11 November.

Ukraine’s Minister of Infrastructure Vladyslav Kryklyi announced this in his Telegram channel, the CFTS portal reports.

According to the minister, public transport will continue operating during the weekend quarantines.

"Public transport, including fixed-route taxis, trolleybuses, trams, and the railway will carry passengers within the limit of their numbers of seats. This applies to urban, suburban, intercity, intraregional, and interregional transport. Domestic flights will not be restricted," Kryklyi said.

According to him, catering establishments, shopping centers, cultural institutions, gyms, fitness centers, hotels (excluding those performing social functions) will be closed during weekends.

Pharmacies, some supermarkets, gasoline filling stations, and financial institutions will be open to the public.
