The Wizz Air low-cost airline company expects to carry 408,000 passengers on flights from Ukraine in 2016. Wizz Air’s Communications Director Tamara Vallois announced this at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday, the CFTS correspondent reports.
Wizz Air carried 437,000 passengers on flights to/from Ukraine in 2015.
In total, the Hungarian low-cost airline company, including its Ukrainian subsidiary, has carried 4.5 million passengers since 2008, the communications director said.
As reported, Vallois told the press conference on Friday that Wizz Air would begin flying from Kyiv to Copenhagen and Nuremberg in August 2017. Flights to Nuremberg will start on 25 August. The Flights will be operated twice a week (on Mondays and Fridays).
Flights to Copenhagen will be launched on 26 August. The flights will be operated on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Prices of one-way tickets for both flights will start at UAH 829.
