The Wizz Air airline officially opened a base at the Danylo Halytslyi Lviv International Airport on July 1, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from Wizz Air.

It is the airline’s second base in Ukraine.

According to the airline, one Airbus A320 aircraft will be based at the Lviv airport.

Thanks to the opening of the in Lviv, the low-cost airline will operate five new services from Lviv to Billund in Denmark, Tallinn in Estonia, Lisbon (Portugal), Hamburg (Germany), and Szczecin (Poland).

As the CFTS portal reported earlier, the Wizz Air low-cost airline has announced the launch of flights from Ukraine to Italy and the Czech Republic. Wizz Air is launching flights from Lviv and Kyiv to Pardubice from September and from Odesa to Milan, Bologna, and Rome from March 2021.
