The Zaporizhia automobile plant (ZAZ) produced 352 vehicles in November, thereby increasing production by 395.8% compared with the previous month. The Ukravtoprom association provided the relevant data, the CFTS portal reports.
In particular, ZAZ produced 300 cars (a 408.5% increase), 50 commercial vehicles (a 316.7% increase), and 2 buses (not produced previously this year) in November. The company produced 71 vehicles in October, including 59 cars and 12 commercial vehicles.
In total, ZAZ produced four vehicles in the period of January-March 2016. The plant idled during the period of April-September. Thus, ZAZ produced 427 vehicles in the first 11 months of the year. Compared with the same period of 2015, production of vehicles by the plant reduced by 84.3% (it produced 2,720 cars and buses in the corresponding period of 2015).
