About 40 Ukrzaliznytsia paramilitary security guards will escort 10 of the company’s passenger trains during the first phase of the project.
The border closure does not apply to some categories of foreigners.
The relevant decision was made at a meeting of the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers on 26 August.
