The Kazakh airline, Air Astana, will increase the frequency of flights on the Kyiv-Almaty route to seven per week from 18 July. The airline will add flights on Wednesdays and Thursdays to the flights it currently operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

After the increase in the frequency of flights, aircraft will depart from Kyiv at 13:40 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and at 21:45 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Aircraft will depart Almaty for Kyiv at 10:20 on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and at 18:25 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

According to the timetable, the flights will be operated on Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. The durations of the flights will be 4 hours and 50 minutes in the Kyiv-Almaty direction and 5 hours and 20 minutes in the Almaty-Kyiv direction.

This is the second time Air Astana has increased the frequency of its flights to Kyiv recently. The airline began flying to Ukraine five times per week instead of three on 5 December 2015.

Ukraine International Airlines also operates seven flights per week on the Kyiv-Almaty route.
