The Air Onix airline company owes the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) UAH 5 million for air navigation services. The State Aviation Service’s head Anatolii Kolesnik announced this at a press conference, the CFTS correspondent reports.
"The main task is for the airline company to refund the passengers that bought tickets, in response to which the carrier says it has about UAH 2 million blocked in the sales system. It also accumulated a solid amount of debt, and these debts need to be paid before it can start flying… The debt to the State Aviation Service is about UAH 1.5 million and the debt to UkSATSE is about UAH 5 million," he said at a press conference on Tuesday.

Kolesnik also noted that Air Onix’s air operator certificate was suspended on December 27, adding that the airline company has not yet applied for restoration of the certificate.
"Although the company’s management has said that it is working in this direction and that it expects to resume operation at the beginning of the summer season," said Kolesnik.
In addition, according to him, the regulator has received 25-30 calls from affected passengers.
As reported, Air Onix suspended operations in December last year because of debts. The airline company’s debt to the Interavia airport ground handling company amounts to UAH 1.352 million and its debt to the Zhulyany airport amounts to UAH 700,000.
