The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the State Maritime and River Transport Service’s head Dmytro Petrenko, the service’s first deputy head Dmytro Barynov, and its deputy head Dmytro Baliberdin on October 20.
This was announced on the government portal, the CFTS portal reports.
According to the announcement, the Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Mykola Bozhko as the first deputy head of the State Maritime and River Transport Service. Bozhko was previously the acting head of the State Infrastructure Projects Agency.
The Cabinet of Ministers also appointed Oleh Potapov as the acting head of the State Infrastructure Projects Agency.
The government also announced a competition for the post of chairperson of the State Maritime and River Transport Service.
As reported, the Cabinet of Ministers decided at a meeting on August 22, 2018, to launch the operations of the State Maritime and River Transport Service and facilitate its operations.
The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Petrenko as the head of the State Maritime and River Transport Service for a probationary period of six months in in April.
