The Crimean parliament, which the Ukrainian parliament dissolved on March 15, has nationalized the assets of enterprises managed by the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure and the Ukrainian Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food located on the Crimean peninsula. The relevant resolution was adopted at an extraordinary plenary session of the Crimean parliament on March 17, the Crimean News Agency reports.
The list of assets nationalized by the Crimean parliament includes the Kerch ferry, the Kerch commercial seaport, the Kerch fishing port, the Feodosia commercial seaport, the Yalta commercial seaport, the Sevastopol commercial seaport, the Sevastopol commercial fishing port, and the Yevpatoriya commercial seaport.
The Crimean parliament also nationalized the assets of the state-owned Administration of Seaports of Ukraine and the Gosgidrografiya state institution.
The Crimean Republican Committee on Transport and Communications will manage the nationalized assets.
