The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade’s committee for appointing the heads of enterprises that are critical to the national economy identified a candidate for the post of director of the state-owned Ilyichevsk Commercial Seaport on 13 October, the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade announced. He is Serhii Kryzhanovskyi, who previously worked at the Odessa seaport and Ukrmorrechflot.
The Cabinet of Ministers will make the final decision on appointment of the candidate.
As reported, the Ministry of Infrastructure initially selected two candidates to head the Ilyichevsk Commercial Seaport and sent their candidacies to the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade for consideration. The second candidate was Hennadii Skvortsov, who is head of the Ilyichevsk Commercial Seaport administration.
The Ilyichevsk Commercial Seaport is one of the 100 largest public companies in Ukraine. The company reported a net profit of UAH 350 million for the first six months of 2015. It reported a net profit of UAH 117 million for 2014.
The Ilyichevsk port’s terminals are capable of processing more than 32 million tons of cargo per year.
