The Ellinair airline will increase the frequency of its flights from Odesa to Thessaloniki in the 2017 summer season, the CFTS portal reports, citing information from the Odesa International Airport.

The airline will now operate flights on this route twice per week.

Flights will depart from Odesa on Wednesdays and Sundays from 31 May to 4 October 2017. The travel time is 2 hours. It operates a 96-seater Avro 146-RJ85 aircraft manufactured by the British Aerospace company on the route.

Ellinair is a Greek air carrier founded in 2013. It is based at the Macedonia International Airport in Thessaloniki (Greece).

Ellinair operates scheduled flights from Greece to Ukraine and European cities and operates domestic flights between Greek cities and islands. Ellinair is part of the Mouzenidis Group.

As the CFTS previously reported, the Sun d'Or airline, which is owned by the El Al airline (Israel), will launch direct flights on the Odesa-Tel Aviv route on 26 June 2017.

According to El Al, flights will be operated on Mondays and Fridays, using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
