The Ilyichevsk Commercial Seaport, one of the largest seaports in Ukraine, increased its net profit 15.9-fold to UAH 350.06 million in the period of January-June 2015 compared with UAH 22.07 million in the same period of 2014, according to data from the Ukrainian Ministry of Infrastructure.

The port’s net revenue increased 2.6-fold to UAH 829.33 million during this period from UAH 318.74 million a year earlier. The cost of the services it provided increased by 42% to UAH 430.55 million. The port’s transfers into the state budget reduced by 9.6% to UAH 95.24 million in the first half of the year.

The number of the port’s employees increased by 2.7% to 3,689 in the period of January-June 2015, compared with 3,591 a year earlier.
