The Antonov state aircraft manufacturing enterprise has concluded a contract for supply of An-178 airplanes to Iraq. The enterprise’s Director Mykhailo Hvozdev announced this during an exhibition of aviation equipment at the state-owned Plant 410 CA, Military Navigator writes.

"Right now, we already have a contract with Iraq. We have negotiations with China. We should begin serial production of these aircraft," Hvozdev said.

As reported, the An-178 attracted the interest of Iran and India at the Farnborough air show in Britain.
