Kedentransservis, a subsidiary of the Kazakh Railways and the largest operator of logistics terminals in Kazakhstan, and the German transport and logistics company Hamburger Hafen und Logistik (HHLA) have signed an agreement for the provision of forwarding services.

The companies plan to implement projects for the development of multimodal terminals in Kazakhstan and other countries, as well as organize transportation along the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR).
The agreement provides for the shipment through the Caspian Sea of 1,000 TEU of pulp on the Shymkent (Kazakhstan) - Poti (Georgia) route, about 400 TEU of Philip Morris Kazakhstan products on the Almaty - Poti route, and 280 TEU on the Istanbul - Poti - Almaty route by the end of 2024.
