The law of Ukraine No. 2436-a on reduction of the number of permits, which was adopted on April 9, has been published in the Holos Ukrainy official newspaper. The law amends 37 laws and codes, cancels 83 permits, and narrows the scope of application of 10.

The document is important for grain traders because it completely abolishes certificates of quality for grain and its by-products (including export), as well as certificates of compliance for the services of grain warehouses. The law also substantially reforms environmental regulation and restricts the rights of the regulatory authorities to cancel permits previously issued by them.
